Going Nuts

One one side, we’re fighting land grabbers who want to convert a park into commercial units (Kidney Hill) and on the other side, we’re fighting the govt. for creating a park on a land designated as a road.

What the hell is going on in this city??

Why are we fighting? (and this is the best park) because some people wanted the land for their own houses, and when they weren’t given it are taking their resentment out on the govt!

The good thing here is, atleast there’s finally some recourse for people to let out their frustrations through the courts.

What frustrates me the most is that our politicians never talk about policy and practices. Theses Kutta’s are too busy drolling over power while they people are suffering.

If you want to contribute, and YES YOU CAN contribute. Educate a child. Education is our only hope at this time.

    How very true.

We shall start from correcting ourselves and educating at least one child, HOPE is always there and that help us believe in Tomorrow.

I think each of us can start off by being socially responsible, becoming more involved in our community and educating those around us about our responsibilities as citizens. If even a 100,000 people in Karachi start beoming involved in what matters in Karachi, things will change. Maybe we can start a campaign…..

. wat we need to do is to redefine the politics of pakistan .. rather than giving vote to same people again and depending on govt. to improve things, we should try improving thigns ourself (even if those things are very small) like stop driving fast, use proper lanes, stop using horn etc etc ..

put plants in your balcony, trees in your garden, and if you have enough shame then go out in the cricket ground (which is bare soil anyway) or main roads and put bury some seeds. come to water them every day. that will be worth more than a 100 PLAYGROUNDS.
