Car-achi: Tragic

Spotted in one of the city’s 2 major hotels.
Whats tragic, is the fact that how illiterate high powered people are in the civil administration. illiterate enough to be unaware of the correct spelling of ones own department.

Are you talking about Karachi? There are more than two major hotels in the city now.

Sheraton, PC, Marriot, Avari and Grand Mercure. I might even have missed some.

They should just make these plates in Urdu — then there won’t be any spelling mistakes. It’s funny that they’re never spelling mistakes in Urdu – something to ponder over.

we enjoy impersonating. we enjoy to role play what we are not.

a circular plate covered by black is something which EVERY policeman dare not LOOK at, let alone STOP and issue a ticket for traffic violation.

this is an EXAMPLE snapped and placed here,

i believe many of us must have heard a dialogue in a road side quarrel … ABAY Tou janta nahi mai kon houn….!

The people it is meant for are illiterates themselves!!

so no pain , but plenty of Gain !

Although I still doubt ! if such “commition” exists ;)
