Where in Karachi?

This is a bit of twist to the normal WIK series we do on KMB. Before you declare me insane for posting this in the WIK series, make sure you’ve put your eyes, brain and available technology to full use.

P.S: We are not debating the ‘literature’ on the bus itself in this post.

Cantt Station people catch buses here for all over Pakistan and there is a distinct very bad smell in this area…

Funny. The top of the bus reads “motorway police zindabad”.

Its probably Cantt Station. Anyone recognize the wall in the corner?

It is not tough – as it appears to be – it is tricky. Please read the hints again.

Perhaps some place near sohrab kot? I’m seeing the “motorway police zindabad” so perhaps close to the highway?

KMB posters should after some time tell the right answer to WIK?

  8. mehreen (unregistered) on September 19th, 2007 @ 6:49 pm

its been edited… the bus has been pasted to a differnt background. yea?

  9. KhiTorPit (unregistered) on September 19th, 2007 @ 9:44 pm

Seems like its not an actual bus, a bus has been painted on a board. The board is on a bus stand in Bahawalpur.

I hate those overloaded buses. Actually they kill two birds with a stone. They carry a hefty cargo of goods in the name of passenger transportation. You can see buss full of sacks of different grains and goods all over inside, underneith the seats, in passenger’s luggage compartments and on top of the bus. Those haramiz also argues with poor passengers if they carry some suitcases, eventually they end up carrying their luggage on their laps. Thats probably why they say zinda bad Rishwat khor police.

This is an unaltered photo. It was taken in Karachi and has been posted as it was without any alteration.

I will wait for another day to let the interested one give it another try. Here are some more hints, again:

Tag yourself a smarty, position yourself in the correct way and there is no way on Earth you can’t locate exactly where this picture belongs to!

  22. mantissa (unregistered) on September 20th, 2007 @ 7:09 am

I’d like to stand by my original suggestion that this is located near Sohrab Koth. Google Earth describes the “Sohrab Goth Bus Stand” as “This is the main stand of Karachi for national transportation via bus”.

I could be wrong but probabilistically speaking, the most likely :)

I first thought of putting some prize on this guess. Lucky me I did not! Libral, Hardcore system programmers should be banned from KMB :)
