this is representing how much our Pakistani Qoam follow the rules,,

jahan likha hoga “Yahan Kachra phainkna mana hay” wahan sab se ziyadah kachra hoga….jahan “NO PARKING” ka sign board hoga ..wahan gardion ki qatarain lagi hongi…

“NO PARKING”k bajay “Duniya jahan ki sari gardian yahan khari karain” ka board hona chahiye…and the same type of “ULAT” changes in other SIGN BOARDS and INSTRUCTION…
tab shayad humari Qoam sudhar jai’e…

One picture doesn’t show the whole situation…maybe there weren’t any females you have one staff member sitting either free, or helping the people get done quicker.

Makes any sense? Or are people here hell-bent on criticizing every little thing?

What everyone is missing is the fact that Pakistan is full of illiterates. One guy is wearing topi and daaRhee in this picture, so he is stupid to begin with. He probably believes that since he is going to heaven in the next world, why bother in this world. He would rather make life hell for everyone in this world.
The others whose faces we can’t see are probably all illiterates. They can’t read signs ‘baraayae khwaateen’ etc.
In fact, most people in Pakistan are so dumb, after centuries of inbreeding, that they can’t follow simple signs, such as no left turn etc.
    It is pathetic indeed.

What I am seeing, most of comments are in destructive manner. I took this pic as fun, except there could be any situation. We all aware about service providing at our govt. offices … no wonder there were one window providing service for these people. (If you note then most of the banks provide one window for utility bills for men and women)

Balma, last time when you used the word ‘fanatic’ for me, you prolly forgot to find out what actually does it mean. For your convenience I am giving you the link which would be helpful to educate you.

  11. BoZz (unregistered) on January 5th, 2008 @ 10:45 am

Balma you have made a valid point. However what you failed to address is that these segregated counters should have been abolished a long time ago. These separate counters for women help keep our women feeling helpless and subjugated.

Women are as resilient and maybe even a bit more hardy than our men. And hence should be treated on equal footings.

  12. IUnknown (unregistered) on January 5th, 2008 @ 11:13 am

@balma: u r so cheap . I did expect this from u. Always pointing towards darhi and topi. U never see rest of ppl standing there whihc look veery “enlightened and moderate persons”.

I think its not ur fault. The way u have been grown up, its all abt that. CHEAPSTER!

BTW, this pictures doesnt convery the complete story. Wats for females? What is that place?

@Iunknown: Most prolly Balma has hormones problem and he throws up his frustration by making comments against darhe wallas?

  15. IUnknown (unregistered) on January 5th, 2008 @ 3:18 pm

lol.. harmonal disorder haramonal disorder ? i think both.

He has already shown by his comment on some other post that what kind of family he belongs to as well.

So it cud be a problem right after begining.

“He has already shown by his comment on some other post that what kind of family he belongs to as well. ”

@IUNKNOWN: By attacking someone’s family, you are showing your own background.

Is darheewala related to you? Despite displaying his “islami huliya” so unashamedly, it is disgusting to see the a religious man not ready to leave any space (decent distance) between himself and the in front. Is this darheewala who is standing at women only window clinging to the butt of another man your role model? Darhee to abu-jahil ki be thee.

  17. IUnknown (unregistered) on January 5th, 2008 @ 5:23 pm

@karachi-itch: u seems to be itching a lot. Go and get a tablet of incidal.

Yeh kaam tum jaisa tharki logon kay hotay hain jin ko na behan kah khayal hota hay na baiti ka.

Biata darhee Paroh(firon) ki bhe thee. But we shud follow Nabi(SAW) .

BTW, get ur eyes checked, he isnt stuck up wid the man in front. Ppl like u can see only nude pics and movies, and later call it enlightment.

there are many many enlightened guys who are living for nothing except ******.

Keep calling names to mullahs. As u sow, u gona see the return in the form of ur children. Jub baita laat mar ker baher nikaley ga ghar say .. then u will realize kay if u would have grown up him in respected and “shria compliant” manner

It appears like a post office… so chill, maybe this is before Eid.

We should remember that many people cannot afford TCS or the likes… so they have to come here

By the way it takes Rs.12 to deliver a post to lahore while TCS robs you of 100+ for the same

  21. BALMA (unregistered) on January 5th, 2008 @ 11:25 pm

Most darhe wala are gay or bisexual. They want to touch young boys in buses and in public places. I think living in madrassas and masjid culture, somehow induces this homosexual feelings in darhe walas.

it seems to me that u have darhe as well?

  22. KhiTorPit (unregistered) on January 6th, 2008 @ 8:34 am

You guys should see the positive aspect of the image too.
This sign “barae Khawateen” shows how much respect we give to women, you cannot see this kind of sign in most of the countries in the world, woman in our country feels more secure and comfortable and feels importance having their own separate lines.
There is no ladies around so men are standing their, doesnt seems any problem to me, its not a bathroom where ladies can come any time.

I dont know why MB has created this post.

A friend of mine told me about this blog few days ago, since then I am following it & to be truthfull, I found it interesting, especially the comments. It really shows how polarized our society has become & how divided we really are. Some comments are really very disturbing, I noticed few characters here who always have their specific vision in their opinions. I am not very positive & optemistic about most of the things that are happening around us (I guess no realistic person could be) but I do know that we have to have some faith in Allah Subhano Tala that there is hope & some good in future for us, the good will prevail in our society as well other wise we are doomed……..

  24. balma (unregistered) on January 6th, 2008 @ 10:30 am

You are right. After writing my ridiculous comment I did ponder on the point you are making. Yes, there should be one line. Even in shit place like Bombay, there is one big bus with no women’s section…and so on. But, our Pakistani culture is pretty regressive. Can you imagine one line where general uneducated population is involved. There will be lots of involuntary grinding. Aqalmand ko ishaarah kaafi hae.
Our people are basically jahil, illiterate, zaalim, lack humanity, and bascially are pieces of shit. You can’t expect civilized behavior by most people in Pakistan.

Also, the comment above at 11:25 PM on January 5th is not from me. IUNKNOWN, I did not make that comment. I don’t write comments like that for KMB writers implying that KMB writers are gays etc. I hope you will not have ill feelings towards me based on someone stupid pretending to be me…. and bhai, jaali balma, why immitate me?

  25. alam (unregistered) on January 6th, 2008 @ 11:40 am

I also agree with Bozz, that there should be one line for women.

Women in our society, to put it in nice words, are lazy. Educated women do not get a job like all decent and hardworking men. They sit at home, waiting for getting married.

This sex-segregation works in the benefit of men and women alike. Men can always find their women in kitched or bedroom. And women can always find a bread-winner for their services.

But in the long run, women have to pay, in all tribal ways.

So, what should be done? well, for starters, we should do what Mao did. Kick out women from houses, and make them work outside home. No preferential treatment at all. This will help everyone.

  26. IUnknown (unregistered) on January 6th, 2008 @ 12:43 pm

too many jaali ppl at KMB now a days who want to get importance and care. Perhaps their family doesnt care about them., that why they are immitating ppl here so that they get noticed

  27. IUnknown (unregistered) on January 6th, 2008 @ 7:10 pm

@alam: kick oyut the women from houses so that they can be sexually harassed at work and at different places very very easily?

  28. snob (unregistered) on January 7th, 2008 @ 12:47 am

Mosh pit or moshing was fun when I was a teenager, during a concert near the stage.
But now as an adult, I dont appreciate any strange body rubbing against me (resting chin and arms included) without my permission, even if it is of an opposite sex.

  29. alam (unregistered) on January 7th, 2008 @ 1:07 am

@iuknown: kick oyut the women from houses so that they can be sexually harassed at work and at different places very very easily?

Well, it also requires illiterate and uncivilized men to be locked up. Suppose u r a pretty boy, and they r bunch of homos at ur work and outsid ehome, will that stop u from going out and work? Will u confine urself to home, protected by ur father and brothers? I hope not.

Same is the case with women. Law should protect them. And if law is weak, women should arm themselves with taser guns, pepper spray, guns, etc. Bunch of horny men out there ready to jump on women should not hold back women.

And if I am not mistaken, sexual harassment also takes place in umrah and hajj, but women thron to Saudi Arab, no matter what. I wonder why

I don’t understand why men insist on not wearng underwear during haj?

  31. IUnknown (unregistered) on January 7th, 2008 @ 10:26 am

    @alam @ balma: i always respect ur
“Atheism” but it doest mean that u shud start pointing towards islam wid ur lame comments.

I dont really understand if it requires a big team to make such a simple software, how come idiots beleive that theere is no GOD and all universe has been created wid out any administration and surprisingly, it is still working for many centuries perfectly.

Since some idiots think like that, they can say any thing abt any thing. Sounds like retardedd persons.

  32. ALAM (unregistered) on January 7th, 2008 @ 12:15 pm

bhai unknown, stay on topic. but since u muttered something on it:

Atheism comes quite natural to me. 20 years of brainwashing could not delete what is natural. Its not like leaving Islam and accepting jesus christ as ur savior. Its more like erasing brainwashing effects. Think of 20 newborn kids left alone in an island. what do u think they will do? start saying prayers 5 times a day? and once in lifetime, prepare a boat to go to Saudi Arab for Hajj? Or prepare a cross and accpet Jesus Christ? Or start building idols and worshipping them?

They might come up with the concepts of gods and evil spirits based on their perceoved threats like storm, famine, etc. but u would rather call it stupidity, right? Me too.

So, it means Islam or any religion is not natural. Atheism is.

  33. IUnknown (unregistered) on January 7th, 2008 @ 12:47 pm

@alam: again.. all nonsense comments!!.. every one can see that u r feeling so down.

    Go Go Athesim! lol

@alam: we cant compete with ur retardness and ill thinking!

Also, can u tell me who made atoms? ( the tiniest particle of universe)

These assumptions based thinking is wat is causing whole chaos in the world including war in iraq, pakistan, afghanistan . In past, its vietnam, korea, japan

  37. IUnknown (unregistered) on January 8th, 2008 @ 9:23 am

see we have some one to show respect for. Unlike u who never know who his parents are!

  38. IUnknown (unregistered) on January 8th, 2008 @ 9:32 am

see i have respect for someone unlike u who dont even know abt his parents! Or do u??

If yes, then u r not a true atheist.

  39. Talha (unregistered) on January 8th, 2008 @ 10:15 am

Amazing, It’s hard to believe that there are Atheists among desi’s as well. I wonder if western public, especially media would know that. They should update their perspective about Pakistan now. Hey Alam, are you trying to get political asylum some where. It can be promising especially for Europe or Canada. you ‘ll find plenty of your kinds over there. You got to do one more thing though, you got to get your A$$ kicked serious enough to make a tiny bitty head line in at least evening news paper, as a proof of your loyalty) & the rest is easy.
My friend, thinking out of the box & questioning your own faith could be a way of salvation but this argument is not that easy. Before making any decision & coming on definite conclusion, you got to make sure that all the pre requisites are met & the most important one is the quest of truth must be backed up by the genuine & sincere desire to find it. If the whole universe & every thing within it would be the result of uncertainty & a matter of coincidence like BIG BANG, then existence of every physical law that this universe is abide by shouldn’t be true. I don’t want to engage in any debate on that but I am really surprised that we have to justify even our beliefs among our fellow Muslims in a Muslim country ….You know what, people living abroad, specially in US & Canada, they want to go back to PAK, once their kids reach at certain age, to give them the real essence and introduce then the roots of our culture and religion. I really feel sorry for those guys. Going through these blog posts gave me the in-sight of how our society has changed. So much so that we have started questioning the existence of ALLAH Subhano Tala, I really feel sorry for those guys & for my self now. We have lost our last resort even. And the most ironic part is we don’t even realize that among all the pathetic things we got, our values were the only precious thing we would have proud on………

do u know about ur parents? do u have DNA test? Just because ur dad was around u spanking ur ass, it doesn;t mean he fathered u. ur mama may be the free taxi cab in the neighbourhood

@iunknown:>>>can u tell me who made atoms? ( the tiniest particle of universe)

u look like madrassa student. atoms r not the tiniest particles.

to ppl like u, faith is all about getting some benefit from Allah mian and other ppl, right?
Thats why the dirtiest Msulim on the block, has the tasbeeh in his hands

As i have alerady said we cant compete widh ur retardness specially u being an atheist and u r not true atheist as well.

tum ho kon bhai ? beech kay ho kia? lol
reading u last comment, it seems that u r one of those children who have long list of fathers … LoL.. How do u fill fathers name field then? give a link to some web page? lol

  42. d0ct0r (unregistered) on January 8th, 2008 @ 7:46 pm

@Alam obviously all of those infants would have ended up becoming tarzan.. infact had Allah not sent all those prophets then you also would’ve ended up becoming tarzan hanging upside down from a tree on some tropical island or maybe your tribe would’ve declared you ‘cursed’ and offered you as a sacrifice to an active volcano to stop it from erupting..
