Raja I think one of the good addition in recent KMB lot. Hope you will keep coming up with your images which will expose both good and bad of the city. 5 from my side. BTW your title reminds me famous urdu mohawra "Noshta-e-Dewar Parhna" though I couldn’t find out what actually does it mean?
on a side note, is entire Karachi suffering shortage of water for few days. There was water supply issue in North Nazimabad area for last few days.
1. The picture is good but does not carry a good caption.
2. Adnan Siddiqui could you please tell me what does acronym BTW stand for in email lingo ?
3. How can one be reminded by something of a Mohawara of which one does not know the meaning?
4. The literal translation of this Mohawara be: To read the writing on the wall. Noshta is a persian word meaning ‘written’. The rest is of course Urdu.(Note I am not a Ahele Zuban but can teach them a few things about Urdu — and often do)
5. Interesting to note there is no warning on the wall for Peshab Karnay Waloon Kay Liay :-) That is not fair.
Sorry, I disagree with you. The caption does not ‘sucks’. You say so because you did not understand what it tried to convey. This caption means we mostly use walls to write graffiti on them; a bad practice. Since this particular wall is still useful for that purpose why rebuild it? A circaustic (spelling?) remark. Got it?
However, this message to be conveyed has not been phrased correctly which would have made it more effective.

I could but wouldn’t over and above what I have said in my preceding comments. I am an ‘agitator’ not an ‘adminstrator’. It reminds me of a very interesting anecdote which is as follows:
You may recall in days bygone Maulana Bhashani was a great ‘agitator’. He will agitate, protest and criticize whatever the govt tried to do. Our great president Yahya Khan got fed up with him. He once called Maulana Bhashani and told him : Look here chap, whatever steps I take to restore law and order you criticize those steps. OK, you tell me exactly what would you like me to do and I would just do that.
Maulana Bhashani replied: I am an agitator and not an adminstrator. It is your job to adminstrate and my job to agitate if I don’t like your adminstration. So I wouldn’t like to propose exactly what steps you should take to restore law and order.
So, let the editors of this post rephrase the caption. If I feel they have not done a good job of it I will agitate.

Nice try. However, the proposed caption "Throw the Warning on the Wall" is not clear. You probably wanted to say : " Throw the warning to the wind."

Your propsed caption sounds good but has no relevance to this picture.

Thanks for explaining to me the acronym BTW.
Chalti Chakki Dekh Kar, Diya Kabira Roye
Dui Paatan Ke Beech Mein, Sabit Bacha Na Koye
Translation
Looking at the grinding stones, Kabir laments
In the duel of wheels, nothing stays intact.
Chacha Islam, Nice to see u as the author of KMB :)
