a sad incident, a sadder state….

continuing my previous post about insane drivers with attitude, let me share an experience with you……

the occurred with an acquaintance a couple of weeks back, and shows the true form of “jis ki lathi, uss ki bhens!”

here’s how he puts the entire event in his own words:

“i ws driving bak home wen a car came 2 a sudden halt in front of me near the commercial area
the guy stood there 4about a minute not being able 2decide where 2go
i simply honked at him couple of times….guess dats what annoyed him
he followed me and while i was entering my home he came n slightly bumped my car from behind which sent me in a
fit of rage
i followed him n blocked his car a few 100 yards from my house and got out of the car to bash him up or give him a few slaps
the next thing i know he fired 3shots at me 1 of which pierced my knee n put me through an agonising ordeal to recover from”

guess nowadays, you can’t even correct anyone…..

    3 bullets for honking…now thats what i call (in)justice
this is what we get in the absence of law and people taking law in their own hands. i see in near future, someone lowering his car’s window glass and shooting at the driver on the side for overtaking him.

what an idiot. road rage begets road rage. anyone stupid enough to get out of their car and think violence is the answer got what he was looking for. I guess HE learnt his lesson. What would fighting him had proven? Its the guy’s fault in the first place for reacting to this obviously irratable individual. The probably pooled a gun because he feared that he himself would have been shot.
I share no pity for the self-wounded.

well Neoka, if he had some fear, he wouldn’t have bumped his car in the 1st place. I don’t know how else would u deal with some 1 who just hit ur car. I guess the victim was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

    here is my solution

    Ginseng:

With ginseng, your initial reaction to stress is likely to be less intense. It’s often referred to as a tonic for the adrenal glands because it tones and maintains their overall health.

I think our middle class urban society has become paranoid to the extent of hurting other people.

Maybe now is the time to take matters in our own hands deal with this.
And the first step is to realize that there is a problem with us.

  9. bozz on May 27th, 2008 @ 10:58 am

I do hope that the victim had the courage to report this crime. Hopefully he was able to take this guys number plates down. Will the author please clarify this.

@asifbiz – Good idea! The thought did cross my mind :) The SOB did not come to be this way all by himself now, did he? But then again, some where along in life we have to be responsible and take responsibility for our actions. So let us just concentrate on this shooter. However if he is a juvenile then your original suggestion should be considered.

Well I have no sympathy with the wounded, he acted stupid.

The Guy chased him to his home, then bumped and went off, The Jerk choose to follow and blocked him to confront., wow….. considering that he confronted the A $ $ HOLE and he would have left frowning …………..later to turn up with Dudes of Crimnal adventure at his gate what then,

In the current LAWLESS scenario, its better to GRIN and wave away mercy even when you don’t wish to, make sure no one follow you home just incase some how you have annoyed other on the road.

Wellcome to life in a Big City….

Road rage is common in big cities and its not the first incident. We are a law-less society. The crooks amongst us are growing and prospering and the number of honest law-abiding citizens is diminishing fast.

Well we want NY like highrises, and Times Square, dont’ we? LIKE IT OR NOT, the ghettos come along those highrises.

  18. bozz on May 27th, 2008 @ 7:20 pm

Looks like someone does not like NY. One of the most interesting, lively and vibrant cities that I have seen.

What you forgot to mention or perhaps are not aware of, is that at the end of the day there is recourse, justice and due process available to its inhabitants.

Ifthe khar Chouhdry & alike will never be restored TO SERVE, restoration is subject to Pre-retirement Ex-Pakistan Leave. Period.

Daily consumption Items…. well IF this civilian Govt put immediate ban on export of all ediables only then it can be managed., or else daku will break in our houses and ask for Food & rations instead of cash & ornamnets.

POWER – It is artificial., Kundas are Cancer to power users & utility bill payers. more then 60% power is consumed by the Kunda users in Pakistan.

    So it starts!

Well, ever since the new government took charge, things have only worsen!! All you read in the newspaper is now based on the following:

    1 – Judges
    2 – Impeach Musharraf
3 – Transfer of government personnel

I am yet to read a news that has anything related to new development that are benefitial for common man like taking control of the food crises. A year ago, we saw Sugar Crises but now apparently there is a complete FOOD crises and what’s available now is more expensive than ever before.

Musharraf’s government failed in its later years to curb the rising cost of the living but people back then said that it’s because it is not a democratic government so people won’t listen to him but now we have 100% democracy.

This country is bound to fall. Many would think that we are sinking but sadly, I am one of those who’d say that it has already sunk and now it’s taking a nose dive to reach the bottom of the ocean before which every little thing will come crashing down breaking our culture, our people, our tolerance, our manners into millions of pieces.

The end has started and it’s only a matter of time before we finally see the light of the day where a bloody civil war surfaces and the new law will be no law. Survival of the most cruel and the death of the innocent and underpower people. Indeed, this was a wrong country and wrong people for whome 2.2 million people sacrificed their lives.

  24. zeeshan on May 29th, 2008 @ 8:00 pm

The ex-Chief Justice of Pakistan is praising NAWAZ SHAREEF like anything. He is actually literally worshiping him now. Itifaaq group of companies apparently is pushing money like anything and is feeding every single lawyer and judge who’s not working.

Zardari is busy making new laws that will protect every single corrupt politician and wrong doing you can ever imagine and for both of these people, JUDGES are the most important thing than bread and butter of thousands of people.

There are News that Musharraf is going to say Goodbye real soon. Imagine the lawlessness that we will soon see when these politicians become God of rich and corrupt people.

LOVE AND LEAVE PAKISTAN for there is no future here anymore… not at least a bright one :s

    democracy..

    dz it work?

may b it dz where the awam is educated, may b where the universities and schools are actually teaching

  26. Neoka (kar_kurt) on May 30th, 2008 @ 5:12 pm

    well put zeeshan,
but the answer is not to leave,
demopcracy means rule by the people. because ppl voted these clowns into office means they are accountable. If you cant keep them accountable, then rise up like you did against Mushareff and have them thrown out. Thats what a democracy is..

  27. bozz on May 30th, 2008 @ 5:32 pm

Neoka – And I thought that all intelligent people had left Pakistan. I guess I was wrong. :)

And people of this land of pure, that means when your leaders screw you once again, the only person you should kick is yourself.

  28. Shamsi (shamsi) on May 30th, 2008 @ 11:25 pm

democarcy & parlimentary system of Govt? – my (_|_),

PPP will be in 3 splinters before end of 2008, one by the Punjab PPP heirarchy ONE loyal to AZ, 3rd strongest but recognised would be – Ameen Faheem group with Zulfiqar Junior Fatima & Ghanwa along.

The Fate of Muslim league… they will go back to the days of 1930s when it originally was a CLUB of Wealthy Muslims who never had any sympathy to the misery of muslims of India, choose a non-classified Converted Muslim Lawyer Mohammed Ali Jinnah to bring reality to their dream, – ironically it never shaped Geographically as they desired…..

Now the scenario is bit different, NS wish to have a Greater Punjab, Balochistan is already in clutches & under seperatist movement fueled by our eastern & western neighbors, Across attock the Bacha Khan Marhoom wanted confedartion with Afghanistan, ANP now in power Taliban hand in gloove they may attempt a dream come true,

SINDH 90 Kana from London wish a rural & urban divide, AZ, Qadir Magsi, Paleajo are willing to deal with KANA for SINDH as SINDHO DESH

Pagro in SINDH says he is REAL LEAGUE, – so :) the SQUINT Ifthekhar chohdary is ready to take role of a New Mohammed Ali Jinnah on behest of Financial support from ALL these MOFU BASTARDs

PIA will soon be outsourced to a French front company of Aga Khan Foundation., I may be wrong because am scared and having bad dreams. and not travelled on PIA since Long.

sometimes I wonder whether the people engaged in violence and hatred, do they deserve our sympathy or punishment?

it is particularly painful to see that certain persons (websites?) are busy in creating ethnic hatred in Pakistan. Some examples may be seen at:

    http://allahsavepakistan.blogspot.com/2008/05/ethnic-hate-speech-against-sindh_26.html

    And:

  30. bozz on June 10th, 2008 @ 3:03 pm

The only one creating ethnic hatred here is you MABDULLAH by posting links to it.

People like you are the worse kind, the back stabbers. Fortunately people on this forum will see through your cunning evil intentions, as a messenger of evil designs.
