People Tolet
Situation in the country or the globe isn’t the greatest but it is sad when you catch something like this. This is the roundabout that sits in on the intersection in between DHA, Gizri and Clifton and a man sitting in the middle of the city’s busy streets is a rare sight. This site was recently revamped to show our pretty side… The traffic signal usually lasts about 60 seconds and I chanced to pass through this area twice in a 2 hour period, and noticed that man sitting there throughout. How many of Karachi’s 17 million population earn enough on a daily wage to make ends meet?
Aside from the jokes we make about how silly the authorities might be, or how useless politicking is, what’s the solution for this man?
A friend of mine who earned his bread and butter from the Stock Exchange circulated this SMS:
Qurbani kee Khalein Stock Exchange mein jama karwa kar sawaab-e-daarein hasil karein.
Aap ke Atiyaat ke sahee haqdaar Mutaasereen-e-KSE.
jahan log bachay bech dete hain wahan to eh koi ajeeb bat nai

A serious question……
i wish i had an answer
Sidewalks, pedestrian brdges, bus stops, why not round abouts. This snapshot is almost screaming at me "tolet people do what they want, where and when they want." Not trying to sound very optimistic but what if he was just on a lunch break.
well yeah . wat if he was but i doubt he would be sittin in the middle of the road on his lunch break. i think he may have been one of those guys that sell stuff on the signals.or maybe he was on break from the sidewalk.
