The Dawood Public School concert that Zeb and Haniya performed at was a great one! They played their numbers and wow’ed the crowd – and what a loud and fun audience this was! Apparently this was the duo’s first time to perform at a school and they were really pleased with the response and crowd feedback they got. An excellent setup, fun crowd and great turn out. It’s heartening to know that in a the tough time that Karachi is going through, the school and its alumni association managed to pull this concert off in such style! The alumni association also put on a 4 minute video where they shared the memories and commentary from a few of the teachers who had been at the Dawood Public School for 10 years or more, and shared soundbytes of some of the students who had graduated several years ago.

The marketing of the event was done primarily through word-of-mouth and through Facebook. Fuzon also performed right after Z&H wrapped up the chords on their last number and got the ground full of an enthusiastic crowd, back on their feet!

Excellent! Next time Zeb and Haniya are performing, I’m going to make sure I attend… again! I managed to get a comment from Zeb about the event and also recorded their hit number, “Chup” – Please find the videos below:
