Violence and aftermath – Time for a change
Part II : The Problem
Whenever we go to a doctor we believe him he is competent to understand the illness, honest in opinion and has no PERSONAL interest clashing to that of the patient. Its exactly why we allow him to operate on us and we trust our lives at his views. We know he has a solution to the problem. A leader is an intellectual doctor who can see what we can not and therefore can suggest the best medicine for our society. Like a doctor we go to him willingly, since we believe he has a SOLUTION to our problems. We vote i.e we hand over our trust and believe our futures are in secure hands since we, collectively, as society want to proceed towards betterment, a natural instinct in a society. By book, a leader has to have some 10 qualities that we don’t go into and we never expect a REAL leader to have all of them, practically. But there has to be a thin line , before and after which a person should be told if he deserves to lead or not. If a person deserves to lead he should be allowed as such else removed. A leader, in politics is an ADJECTIVE not a noun . .
A LEADER is not the first person in first line in a HERD . . . . and A Leader is not the person who follows Popular DEMAND . . .
and here is where we MAKE mistake when we choose our leadership and therefore the CRISIS of leadership we are facing now. Whether our 170 million people are a MOB or a NATION will only be decided upon the type of LEADER(ship) in first row and first position.
continue . . .
Ah there’s more to follow…..
@ MB.
all what we need is a dictator who his good at heart….yeh yeh i know its a oxymoron, but thats what we really need.
BIG words bout democracy the b est thing…is crap…all crap.
democracy in hands of a ill-litrate and jahil qoum ( there is a diffrence between acadimicaly il-litrate and being a JAHIL )….and we are both…..jahil and illlitrate..
givign such a qom democracy is like giving a moneky a razor to play with……..or its like puttign oneself into a blender and push the start button….or playing football on highway blindfolded…..okay okay i know you get my point.
here goes a million dollor question, do all the nouns of PTI consider IK as adjective? if yes will someone shed more light on this, if not than why preaching what they dont practice:P
….and if the theory gets accepted then people like MB@KMB would be voicing like ‘dozens of go crazy nouns recieved the junkie adjective upon his arrival at karachi airport da other day’ lolz
@ dude.
Govt school se passed out, with 33 marks or lower in English, most of the times.
Pls don’t talk bout adjectives, nouns pronouns, direct-indirect, active-passive sentences
Brings back a lot of painful memories
@fasee
Govt. School, 33 marks lower English these things show you mentality & we think that you belongs to rich family study from high-fey private school, collage aboard university and make you comments nullify which you have written before
I am sure that here we all are equal & should respect what other says
@MB
Regarding the subject, firstly I ask to MB please tell us what are those 10 leadership qualities a leader should has which he mentioned in his comment, secondly we should not consider those leaders who(s) didn’t take part in elections. Lets take an example I think we should talk about leaders of ANP & Fuzal-ul-Rehman Group & shouldn’t talk about Qazi & other like him because ANP & Fuzal-ul-Rehman are brave enough to fight in elections. And only the voters who cast their vote in favor on these parties should judge that their leaders & policies are right or not.
We should not consider any mambo jumbo saying who is right & who is wrong. In my opinion a leader should be weighted through how many votes he or his party got.
@ALL: and the question(s) remain un-answered :’D
@suhailmk
Sir I dun no how to say this….but I maybe a racist but not a liar.
When I say I went to govt college where y annual fee was 840 rupppes, what I drove was a two wheeler, mechinically powered by myself….or on automobile transport,if somebody gave me lift…..and due to my wrong spellings….yes I hardly ever passed my english subject in one time…mostly it was below 33 all me life.
Same goes for URDU….I failed goes I hate ugly romantic poetry.

Leave all leadership problem we need good teacher especially in Govt School…. Who did his MBA from aboard
Sir plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz above 33 not just passing mark
lol…………………
Sir, we need good teachers at all levels…. All my life in pakistani institutes as well as abroad, our paki teachers hardly are noteworthy.
We need good primary teachers, who give u power to THINK, not destroy it.
Fasee suffered in school n college coz he was poor and diffrent, thought, and asked WHY, when I was supposed to COMPLY only…..and thought I might be a wasted life, unable to FIT IN into crowd, society, family…..but thank god I prevailed…..but we need to create ways to harness potiential that is bound to be destroyed by otherwsie rotten system
PS: bythe way, I am foreign qualified in all the add’das of angrezi civilization….US UK and now maybe canada…but that doesn’t chnage the past..which I never forget or hide

Above are the 10 qualities a leader should possess according to William S Frank…whether you agree to his thesis or not is another issue,
wikipedia describes "Leadership" in the following words
"Leadership has been described as the “process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task” [1]. A definition more inclusive of followers comes from Alan Keith of Genentech who said "Leadership is ultimately about creating a way for people to contribute to making something extraordinary happen." [2] Students of leadership have produced theories involving traits [3], situational interaction, function, behavior, power, vision and values [4], charisma, and intelligence among others"
By this definition the PPP, MQM, PML N and MMA has demonstrated able leadership by either coercing or influencing the voting public whichever view you support to vote for them. they have demonstrated this ability in election after election in their own constituencies
As you see MB….dictionaries can be misleading at times..your mistake is someone else’s choice, your terrorist is someone elses savior, your mafia don is someone else’s leader.. so do enlighten me now on how you can judge a country from behind your screen, whom you call a mob call you a fool.
" so do enlighten me now on how you can judge a country from behind your screen, whom you call a mob call you a fool "
Very simple
HISTORY does it for you what is typically known as RECORD
Just look at the record of the person making a claim, compare your leader’s word with actions and all will be as clear as writing on the wall
@fasee
Okay let’s forward that comment to suhailmk
