Tombstone! No a number plate actually.

kmb609Suitable for a tombstone maybe but for car’s a number plate ! at least I wouldn’t want THAT on mine. And this number plate is seriously fake as the numbers are not embossed, there is no stamped government monogram, the letters are just hand painted on a green tin plate, and the car is yet on the road.

I believe you are in nucleus of Karachi with a limited vision outside the HOLE. You have no idea about the common (read) ongling daily standards of affairs in PAKISTAN. What you are talking about, you have no clue.

IN RAWALPINDI, There are no such thing as embosed or stamped registeration plates for vehicles. At the time of registration a number is alloted and USER is to get the plate. (Black plate White letters for private, White plate & Black letters for comemrcial.)

Green & White is for Central & provincial Govt use only Throughout Pakistan. – an Every Police man from Khujarab to Manora is aware of the fact that touching such vehicle will cost them too MUCH.

Islamabad being terror capital ops i mean Capital territory they have white plates Islamabad as footer – ICT as Header then ‘AN’ Alphabet & assigned numbers

Please DO verify this from the Islamabad fellow bloggers, prove me wrong with a Photograph if you can, please

Quick Quiz – In Karachi you see Green Plates emboooozede with STAMP some Painted as well, with white letters – GA – and – GL , can YOU explain what is that.

Ironically – Our country LACK uniform code of motor vehicle registration and the dimensions, color of display Plates, plus the centralised acessibility of motor vehicle registration database.

    " Ironcialy what we LACK….."

Yaar if we start getting depressed on lack of things, we might die a unnatural and premature death, instead of the natural and instant death from suicide bombings.

Look at the positive sides, we are blessed with such diversified set of leaders in shape of zardari, nawaz, fazlu, altaf, jamali, shujat, we have so many in stock we forgot in an instant bout the shaheed feamle poodle we once had

@Shamsi: interesting observation sir, govt vehicles in islamabad are now bearing the prefix GC, here in sindh GP is for federal govt owned vehicles, GS for sindh govt. GA is for autonomous govt organizations like KPT, DHA or steel mills, GL for local govt.EA (E series) for charity owned vehicles mainly ambulances & coffin carriers B series for SUV or 4×4 class vehicles, C series for private LTV grade vans CC series (white text over red plates) for diplomatic core (wherein the first two digits are country code and the later two represent the hirearcy of the bearer, like if its a plate issued in karachi with no CC 01 01 it is the consul general of usa, ok i think thats enough for this post
