    now that’s awkward… Yet I cannot blame this teacher or the students.. the people to be blamed are those frickin guys who actually made that person (and all others like him) a teacher..

    @bukhari sab…..yes I fully agree with you sir….teaching is passionate thing its not fair to hire people just to give them a job and livelihood and endanger the future of the most endangered inhabitants of lyari….please have mercy on these poor poor creatures….

    @everyone who read/posted/about to read this post/comments:

    1. Yes there are problems with our education system, honestly, I will not/cannot expect from a government who’s president is only a high school graduate (pass-out is a more appropriate term).

    2. Even our “reputed” private education institutions are in dire straits. My nephews/nieces study in two of the top education institutions in Pakistan, my niece who just entered grade 6 told me they haven’t had any educational trips to any museums/places of national history, in their entire school life. WTF!!! My cousin tells me he pays about 50,000 PKR in school fees and other miscellaneous expenses. That’s 25,000 PKR per kid man!!! I went to a convent, I still remember my school fee up to the 8th grade was 800 rupees!!! Including my bus fee. We used to have 2 trips to museums every academic year.

    3. Keep this in mind that we are planning/trying to implement an American educational system, here’s what I can tell you about this system, the founder of NEA (National Education Association) David Rockefeller was quoted saying “I don’t want a nation of thinkers, I want a Nation of Workers.” He, my friends, was the richest man ever in the history of mankind.

    The only thing that gives countries the power/resource to present themselves a leader is through education, and education only. We need to formulate an educational system on our own.

    @sabih sab….sir with all due respect…this particular post and the video is not about the whole education system of pakistan or the diversities…..I believe that apart from the “need to be done point of view” their aim seems to highlight stagnation in the government owned education system and to say to the sponsors …”you are wasting your time…
    my point of view is that if you can’t teach a laborers kid to read and write by the sixth grade….you have failed…because that’s the most they can afford….after that only luck can bring them back to education….

    Am SAD and Hurt, at the state of affairs specially about education in our country.

    – Passport shall be issued only to those who qualify to read write and spell their name in Official National Language ( who will decide what is official language of Pakistan………..another dilemma )

    Sorry for interferring into your idealistic mumbo jumbo, but guys, have any of you heard the donkeys n horses thingy…??

    If whole nation wud be turned into a thinker nation, who the hell wud make rotiz n open the gutters.

    Sir jee everycountr hardly needs a few percent thinkers and a major work force and a few percent managers n professionals….

    So goes for the populist slogan, her ik ko ameer karoo. Koi gareeb na rahay…..stupidty sheer stupidty..kaam in ke abba shareef karain gay agar her koi spoilt rich huwa tu…

    This thing is againt nature, aginst socity norm, aginst logic, for the very existence of society in long term.

    There is A, O levels then peelay sakool then mulah sakool….u join where u feel comfortable or where u can afford….if not then struggle to achive ehat u need.

    The dilemma for the phatichar nation is….that we want a cheese cake at theprice of a gola ganda, and dat too without any efforts….cheapsters.

    If u can’t earn it, u don’t deserve it pal.

    If anyone hates to be in a peela sakool, join A levels….if u want to be a thinker no sakool can destroy that….most of the thinkers of ol times did get to go thru all such peelay sakoolz.

    Don’t expect the govt to launch A O level sachoolz inur gali ka nukkar at 100 ruppes PM…..sir jee khuda ke liyaa her kaam ka theeka hakomat na nai liyaa..kuch tu khud mehnat say hasil kker lo….

    @fasee sab…sir mein ney kya kiya hai…..admiralty ney doo sal ki ghair muaiyana muddaat kay lian bilkul free kar diya hai….aur yeah record hai kay Iss age limit main kabhi dada per dada ko bhi itni free hand nahein diya giya hai…..yeah gup toh doodh wala bhi confirm kar dey ga…iss kay lian British museum janey ki bhi koi zaroorat nahein…..

    This video makes me want to cry. I don’t blame the teacher becuase I don’t think he is trained or gets paid properly. I blame the government and the ministry of education whose minister should be hung publically for doing a shit of job. This is really sad. I admire people like Shehzad Roy who are doing as much as they can for the education in Pakistan. I am sure there are others like him. I think we all should take this into our own hands and not rely on stupid politicians who are more interested in in-fighting and serving the foriegn governments.
