Elbow room is a nice cosy place with wonderful ambieance…..portions r small and way pricy…but really tasty n worth the bang experience overall.

But at airport, I wonder how can they creat the ambience in a crowded place full of jahil qoum

Why people complain about portions, you are not meant to eat whole lotta deserts or full plate of pasta. These regular portion sizes are what we should eating, no wonder we have a lot of obese people around us and it’s the next pandemic. You are paying for quality, good customer service and overall a good experience.

    jahil qoum

@fasee saab….sir with all due respect…since your tax break return I sense a softening in your stance towards us….or is it the ambiance of the inside of the karachi airport….that made you soft…and tender…cutting the best part of the promo…
since I refused to run away from it all…the first thing I did was to stop going to the karachi airport….blaming security …now I don’t even go to receive and sea-off my dearest niece…for whom I could fly to dammam anytime…I have seen the best and the worst of Karachi airport…so nothing they could do could ever impress me now….
by worst I mean the time having to receive American guest through a fallen down roof of the foreign arrivals terminal in the eighties…and by the best ….I don’t think you were here during the Dupatta policy era…it used to be a cultural shock for a PTV addict like me….girls and ladies coming all wrapped up from home at the airport and passing through the immigration door the wrap beginning to fall down..and during the long wait in departure lounge…you could imagine where it went…yes into the bags…looking through the glass I always thought that maybe there is Allah taala on this side and dear Allah mian on the other side of this glass….and I am only talking about the london newyork flights….because that’s what I had to brace during that period….now the times have really changed….I can tell the destination and the airline from the perdosans dress leaving home….

    Sathiyaa …dhonda hai saraa jahaaaaaaaaaaan…..

Sir jee, cameback after a long hietus, so will take some time to charge
    up…..aap mayoos nahee hoiyee ga.

My worst time on airport was when due to anp issue I had to stay alone at air port all nite last year..had to pay double charges for. 5 hour stay at airport hotel room..without recipts….khair….my golden moments used to be when coming back to pakistan as kids, when releqtives used to be waiting and greeting us….we aniticpated chocoltaes, candies n stuff and always got them too…

    “Dressing up / down”

Let me tell other side of the story…from saudia, all dressed up in abaya, gloves n stuff, as soon as pakiz reach islam ka qila..women hurridley threw away the black sheet like if some snake was wrapped around them…..maybe they feel more protected in islam ka qila then in middeast conutries….

By telling me the eyewitness account from the other side…you have made my day….infact you raised me from the dirt and elevated my spirits….I always considered myself as being the child of a lesser God….but today I feel I was always better off than the worst….

Praiseth the Lord and eat and Icecream…

    “Raised my spirits…”

Sir why u waited for so long, for me to do the honours, when simply two shots of vodka martini wud have done the trick.

Avoid moving near police checkposts after that……they might not be competent enough to catch mullahs, but they have mastered the art of extorting even the last pennes from shareef drunkards

Wow…I Googled and found that this elbow room is a global phenomenon….nice…but what is more interesting is that for people like my self who cannot afford the Glasnost of the Karachi Airport….can enjoy the elbow room at Mumtaz street ,IIChundrigar road….which is the original Elbow room resturant in Karachi….and should have been mentioned by the Author….anyways
