Qavvaali featuring Fareed Ayaz

Join us for an evening of devotional music as we pay tribute to legendary Sufi poets and thinkers, ranging from Hazrat Amir Khusrau to Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi. Fareed Ayaz and Brothers belong to the 705 year old “Qavvaal Bachon Ka Gharana” of Delhi. They are the sons of the legendary Munshi Raziuddin and are internationally acclaimed as being amongst the finest qavvaals of the sub-continent.

Zeb And Haniya Rock! (Videos from the Concert)

The Dawood Public School concert that Zeb and Haniya performed at was a great one! They played their numbers and wow’ed the crowd – and what a loud and fun audience this was! Apparently this was the duo’s first time to perform at a school and they were really pleased with the response and crowd feedback they got. (more…)

Zeb & Haniya and Fuzon Concert on Saturday December 20th

There is a Zeb & Haniya and Fuzon concert taking place at the Dawood Public School (school opposite the Aga Khan Hospital) on the 20th of December. Anyone interested can purchase tickets at EGO. I believe tickets are for Rs.400 each. Oh -the concert is for young women and girls only, so well, if you aren’t a girl person, please don’t bother buying the ticket!

Convention of the Creative – 2008

Following the two successes of The Karachi Anime Conventions, Metal Seinen originated to bring together Pakistan’s ‘metal youth’ to the fore. COTC is organized to propagate creative and professional progression though mutual efforts of the members by means of untraditional interests such as anime, gaming, digital art, music and performance racing.
